IEM Kolkata has collaborated with various national and international colleges, industries, and universities. There are national and international MoUs signed for the benefit of students and the college. The college even collaborated with the Business School for its study material and others. Institute of Engineering and Management is one of the India's top ranked institutes. It is considered as a leading institute by national ranking bodies. As per NIRF 2025, the institute has been ranked #151-200 under the Engineering category. Over the past few years, IEM Kolkata has been ranked under multiple streams, namely Management, Engineering, and others.

EM Kolkata, under the 17 departments, offers PG and UG courses to students. These programmes are available across the Management, Engineering, and various other streams. The below-mentioned are the departments under the IEM Kolkata:

The application fee for each streams and year varies every year. The fee also depends on different categories. Application form is there on the college page. After filling all the details & uploading the required documents, the students need to pay the fee at the last step. Once the fee is paid, the application is successfully submitted.

Here are some private / deemed universities offering Agriculture UG with their own entrance exam and ICAR accreditation:

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) University, Bhubaneswar – Entrance exam: SAAT

ITM University, Gwalior – Entrance exam: ITM NEST

Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad – ICAR accredited agriculture programme

Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Odisha – University entrance / CUET

Student note: These universities offer agriculture UG programmes with practical farm training, labs, and fieldwork along with theoretical learning. Many of them conduct their own entrance tests for admission. 🌱

MNLU is considered to be the best for LLM in Mumbai. There are two MNLU LLM courses, with fee ranges between INR 99K and 1.2L, with a placement of INR 7 LPA, as per Shiksha records. You may look into Amity University, Mumbai's LLM Courses, which are between INR 1L and 1.9L, and placements are between INR 4.8 and 6.8 LPA (Shiksha data). Then there is Kirit P Mehta School of Law's LLM courses with strong specialisations in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law. 

IISM SMAT is held multiple times in a year between January and May. Candidates can apply for the exam according to their choice of exam phase.

SNAP is an 80 minute test having 80 questions in MCQ format. Every questions carries 1 mark. Check below table for sectional break up:

You can start preparing for SMAT at least 2 months in advance, so that you have enough time to go through the syllabus and to practice sample questions.

If you have not studied Maths in class 12, you need not worry about it. SMAT has very basic level of questions from Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Mensuration. You can revise these topics to prepare for the exam and that'll be enough.

It is not recommended to skip Quantitative Analysis section in SMAT exam, altogether as it will negatively affect the overall score.

SMAT syllabus is not difficult. It includes regular aptitude related subjects like Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability. These subjects are common to other entrance exams too.

Sports Awareness section has the highest weightage in the SMAT exam. It has 24 questions. Verbal Ability has 20 questions and rest three sections have 12 questions.

IISM SMAT syllabus includes important topics of Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Sports Awareness.

It is not compulsory to attempt all sections of SMAT but it is advisable to attempt a good number of questions in each section of the exam for a good overall score.

SMAT is conducted for 80 minutes. There is no sectional time limit so candidates need to divide time between the sections accordingly.
