The three-year programme provides comprehensive knowledge about business, trade and its characteristics and policies involved, accounting etc. Usually, students to B Com (Hons) are selected on the basis the merit in qualifying examination.

Applicants must be Twenty years on or before joining the course.
Admission Process -
The eligible candidate has to apply to the campus of his choice with the application form duly filled up along with the supporting documents.
The form can be procured from any of the Campuses by paying Rs.750 or he/she can send a DD of Rs.750/- drawn in favour of NSHM Academy, payable at Kolkata or Durgapur (as applicable). In this case the Application form along with the prospectus will be couriered to the candidate. Candidates can also apply on-line here and can send us the filled-in application form along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 750 drawn in favour of NSHM Academy, payable at Kolkata or Durgapur ( as applicable).
Graduation (with minimum 50% marks) with a valid score of MAT/CAT/XAT/WBJEEMAT or any all India level Management Aptitude Test (as applicable).
Candidates appearing for the final year exam can also apply. In such cases admission will be provisional till the candidate clears the University exam.
The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the Personal Interview conducted by NSHM.

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes of undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University established as under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. In the year 2002 there were 3 constituent institutes, subsequently ten more Institutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of Symbiosis International University vide notification No.F.9.12/2006-U.3 (A).
It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for the undergraduate programmes of the following Symbiosis institutes. However SET is not mandatory for the Symbiosis instititute of Technology (SIT), Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON) and Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA).
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common and mandatory written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University. However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Post-Graduate programme of that Institute.
