MBA is a Management degree course is usually affiliated with a University and PGDM is a Diploma in Management offered by University/Private Colleges, approved by AICTE. While both the courses are of 2 years and hold the same value. There are many good B-school in India. As far as I know, PIBM is a well-known B-school that provides full-time MBA/PGDM courses in diverse domains like finance, HR, marketing, operations, and much more. Its curriculum is designed as per the latest industry trends and is updated regularly. Pune Institute of Business Management was established in 2007 and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. PIBM offers two management courses at the postgraduate level viz. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and MBA in three specializations of Human Resource, Marketing, and Finance.
Candidates who have completed their graduation and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination and in their 10 + 2 examinations are eligible to apply for the PGDM and MBA course at PIBM.
Candidates are also required to submit the aptitude test scores at the time of application. Scores of the following examinations are accepted CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/ PMAT (PIBM's aptitude test)/GMAT.
Seats to the PGDM and MBA programs will be allotted based on candidates performance in the aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview rounds.

The National Eligibility Test NET is also known as UGC NET or CBSE NET is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lecturership and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. It AIMS to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in teaching professions and research. Benefits of Qualifying UGC NET:
After Qualifying National Eligibility Test NET enables a person to be eligible to apply for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges located anywhere across India. Qualifying National Eligibility Test also makes one eligible for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) but the maximum age limit to apply for the fellowship is 28 years.

Admission Guidelines for MA in Philosophy from University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus is mentioned below:
If your Bachelor's degree is in the same course in which you are seeking admission, with 6 papers on that subject, you will be admitted on the basis of merit. If it is 3 papers, you will have to appear for an interview.
If you have done your Bachelor's degree in a subject other than the one you are seeking admission in, you will be selected on the basis of a written test consisting of 2 papers in the subject in which you desire to register for your MA degree. Paper 1 will be an essay paper on the subject, and Paper 2 shall be a paper to test your general acquaintance with the subject.
