Finding cutoffs of previous years and extrapolating it to next year is very tough proposition. There are many dynamic variables. Difficulty level of exam, preference to a particular branch, performance of students etc. Best is to study well enough to have percentile of 75 that will ensure your admission in any institute.

Quality Assurance is about rules, checking medicine is safe, and following standards. You need to be careful and know industry rules.
Pharmacognosy is study plants and natural medicine and how they work. You need to know botany and chemistry.
Quality Assurance maybe easier if you like rules and checking. Pharmacognosy better if you like nature medicine and research.
