FDDI AIST 2026 entrance exam will be conducted as a paper-based exam and will be of 3 hours. The question paper will be multiple choice based. Candidates should carry the NEST 2024 application form, admit card, scorecard as well as academic qualification and reserved category documents.

Both original and photocopy of the documents should be carried to the counselling venue. Applicants should also carry at least four passport-size photographs with the documents while appearing in the NEST exam counselling.

No, the Joint Entrance Test will not be done through online mode. Both the question papers of the FTII JET, paper 1 and 2 will be conducted offline mode i.e. pen and paper test. Paper 1 will be MCQ based, while paper 2 will be descriptive based.

The last day to pay FDDI AIST counselling fee will be in July 2026. Counseling fee has to be paid at the time of seat allotment. The fee will have to be paid by candidates who have been alloted seats.

Yes according to the exam pattern of the Film and Television Institute of India, there is negative marking in the exam. As part of the negative marking, -0.25 marks alloted to the question in Paper I of FTII JET will be deducted. The paper 1 will be objective type in nature hence candidates must mke their answer choices wisely.

Candidates need to attempt all the questions. There will be two papers - Paper 1 and 2. Paper 1 will be divided into two parts A & B.
