Sadly, you cant take architecture this year. But, you have a blessing in disguise where you can pursue Diploma in Architecture now and maybe later get a lateral entry into B.Arch.

Normally, they offer admissions through VITEEE, if not go and approach the admission office directly and find out the cost that is incurred for the same course. Do not depend on anybody in this regard.

As per long-term career prospect, my recommendation is that both are not good.
For ground reality, you should personally visit the colleges and interact with students there and on that basis, you can select the best one.
