Aspirants must begin their preparations for NDA SSB interview without waiting for the written exam result. Whatever method candidates choose for preparation, they should stay focused. Candidates should be sincere and systematic in their preparation. Candidates must observe their improvements and at the same time try to minimise their mistakes. Candidates must focus on their physical fitness. The tips and tricks to prepare for NDA exam are given below:

• Making a timetable helps you plan your day accordingly and keep you focused. When you plan your entire day, you get to take time for other things, such as exercise
• In the SSB exams, you must focus on your psychological test. During DSO, creating and narrating a sensible story is what the selection officer needs. Reading books based on psychology will help you bring new and innovative storylines
• Make a habit of reading newspapers and articles daily. Not only does it help you know the country’s current situations a lot better, but it also makes you aware of sensitive issues that the interviewer might ask you
• Story making and narration are essential parts of the SSB screening test. You have to make up a story and narrate it before the interviewer with confidence and no errors. Practice gives you confidence, but it also improves your imagining power

JEE Advanced rank lists are prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE Advanced. Only candidates who appear for BOTH Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be considered for ranking. There will be no waiting list for ranking. The ranklist is used in JoSAA for allocation of seats in the IITs. JoSAA is held online only. All the candidates who are eligible for admission will have to participate in the joint seat allocation process by filling in their preferential choices of the courses and institutes. If the aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded a higher rank. If a tie exists then a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

If the JEE Advanced aggregate marks scored by two or more candidates are the same, then the following tie-break policy will be used for awarding ranks: Step 1: Candidates having higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank. If the tie breaking criterion at Step 1 fails to break the tie, then the following criterion at Step 2 will be followed. Step 2: Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics. If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts the TISSNET selection process soon after the declaration of results. The TISSNET admission process for the 2024-25 session will commence in second week of April 2024. Candidates who will appear for the TISSNET exam and qualify the cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the TISS Online Assessment rounds. The Online Assessment of TISS consists of Personal Interviews and Extempore rounds. To appear for the OA rounds, shortlisted candidates must compulsorily fill the Detail Application Form (DAF) on or before the prescribed last date. On the basis of the applications received, candidates are assigned the date on which they have to appear for the OA rounds. The OA rounds are conducted in online mode via the Zoom application. It is conducted for a duration of 20-30 minutes by the three-panel members. The aim of OA rounds is to assess the candidate's interest in the selected programme. The final selection is then based on the candidate's performance in the TISSNET exam (50%) and Online Assessments (Extempore (20%) and PI (30%). .
