Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow is now probably the best college left available from this year where students can get admission, for B.Tech. Course, through UPSEE. As erstwhile HBTI getting university status, under HBTU Act, 2016 and opting to take admission through JEE Main from 2017. Also, there is a national college too named IIIT Lucknow. Nevertheless, due to non-completion of construction work, the faculty and campus of IIIT, Allahabad is being used as of now. For getting into this IIIT one need to take JEE Main exam. Amongst private colleges, there are several and more or less of the same standard viz. Amity University, BBD and SRMCEM.
