Sorry to say, but you didn't scored enough to get seat in NIT as the cut offs for NITs for any branch is very high as compared to other colleges If we have a look on previous year cut off in general you need to score below 40k to get into NITs and below 20k to get into top NITs. All the best for future!

Process after Cap Round 1 allotment of seat are as follows :-
1. Reporting to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) as per Allotment of CAP Round I between 30 Jun to 04 July
2. Reporting to the Allotted Institute and Confirmation of Admission by submitting required documents and payment of fees ( candidates who have been allotted the seat as per first preference in Round I or freeze their allotment in Round I and reported to ARC ) between 30 June to 22 July.
