1. You should do a marketing internship. If you are serious about doing MBA then going for a technical internship won't help much. Marketing experience, on the other hand, will help you during college interviews. Plus, you will gain invaluable insights on how 'management' works. There are various streams within marketing you could do an internship in fields like digital marketing, business development, customer relationships, market research, etc. Now, what you choose totally depends on what you like.
