"NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech +M.Techin Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  •  The JEE Main score of the candidate
  •  The category of the candidate
  •  The number of seats available in the course

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 3413 for OBC, 1732 for SC, 629 for ST, 1388 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 7763 and closing rank was 8716. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 13159 and 14090. Admission to BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Yes, if you have home state quota you may get. In case of NIT Durgapur, people got Chemical, Civil, Biotechnology till the 7th round of counseling but many got even Mechanical in the spot round with rank of 35000 at NIT Durgapur. So stay optimistic.

Yes, the XAT admit card has a google map and address of the exam centre for candidates convenience. The candidates must find out the shortest route to the XAT exam centre via the google map a day before the test day because they are expected to be present at their respective test centre at the reporting time mentioned in the XAT admit card.
