The mess food at Imperial College of Engineering and Research is generally considered to be of good quality. There are two main mess halls on campus, one for girls and one for boys. Both halls offer a variety of dishes, including Indian, Chinese, Continental, and South Indian cuisine. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available.

The total number of faculty in ICOER is  91, with more than 25 PhD. and 30 pursuing PhD., most of the faculty members are quite young but have more than 500 journals published at national and international level. Most of the faculty members are friendly and open to help. They support your ideas and inspire you for internships and understand struggles of students. overall they are quite friendly and helpful.

ICOER offers many courses in B.E., M.E. and MBA. for Bachelors the courses offered are in CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering and with the industry strandards currently CSE is the best course with the best placement records. For post graduation an Master of Business Administration is always preffered over a Master of Engineering degree.

The ICOER campus provides a lot of facilities like hostel accomodation for girls on campus, transport facilities to and from Pune city, on campus ATM facility, a good enough canteen with decent food options, a manageable gym. 

A lot of sports activity options are also availaible both indoor and outdoor, with a variety of facilities.

also the classrooms are quite good and every classroom has virtual screens.

ICOER is a completely residential college and students, specifically the girls are expected to stay in the on-campus hostels provided which consists of two hostels with common kitchens/mess.

But the boys are not provided with on campus accomodations and have to get private accomodation outside the campus, so no the hostel is not compulsory for all students but it is always suggested to get a hostel because of how much the privacy and peace of hostels help in improving the acads and in skill improvement.

ICOER does have Medicinal Facility for all occupants in the campus, and a Physician is also appointed to routinely visit in the Sickroom for health check-ups of students and staff. 

An ambulance is available 24x7 in the campus for any Medical Emergency.

The Institute has also signed MOU with Lifeline Multispecialty Hospital which offers health care Services for Students and Staff on concessional rates.

The question is quite a bit vague but if you want to know the pros and cons of ICOER, I can help,

1: The course structure and subjects is quite good but needs improvements in all respects and removal of some subjects.

2: The faculty is quite good and always helpful, and love helping like parents 

3: Internship culture is promoted

4: The placement is also improving year by year,

5: It recently got creditted A grade by NAAC

6: Campus is large and beautiful but away from city but with no bus services

7: Only girls are provided with on-campus hostels, boys are not.

The hostel service is provided to girls only at ICOER and the fees is INR 35,000 per year, with facilities such as WIFI, 24x7 water supply, daily news paper, solar water supply, daily cleanling, etc.

For boys, you can find accomadation outside the campus for around 50k per year including mess, with similar facilities.

There is no caste based seat reservation in ICOER, you get admission in the basis of your CRL in JEE Mains and MHCET. however inside the college you can get scholariship or fee waiver based on your castem i.e. for 1 year your tution fees is going to be:

For open category: 1,18,000.

For OBC category: 56,664.

For others: 10,000.

The college/campus life at ICOER is quite decent, the infastructure is quite good and the campus is quite large enough.

Talking about academics and professors the academics are quite interesting but some subjects need to be updated, but the professors are quite learned and helpful.

The location is both a pro and a con, it lies in the outskirts of Pune city so you are free from the hustle bustle of the city but due to no bus service going to and from city is a hefty task.

The faculty to student ratio plays an important role in the college as a better ratio means we could get more attention from the instructos and our doubts and problems are quickly taken care of, for ICOER this ratio is 1:22, means for 22 students there is present one faculty, which is a decent ratio, it could improve in fucture but is infact currently better than many other colleges where the faculty-to-student ratio jumps to over 1:40.

For undergraduate admission at Rutgers University, Newark campus, the primary emphasis is put on the academic profile of students. This can be demonstrated by completion of high-school required subjects, academic performance in high school, SAT or ACT score (if applicable), and English proficiency exam results (when required). Some of the qualitative factors that are considered include personal essays, extra-curricular activities, special talents, and socio-economic background.

If we talk about Rutgers University Newark campus ranking in the world, then as per QS World University Rankings 2023, the Rutgers' position is between 800-1000. In the global universities category ranking by US News & World Report, Rutgers University – Newark has been placed at #598 position in 2022-23.

Many of the top companies both indian and MNCs visit the camous of ICOER for recuirtment during the placement season some of those are:  Amazon, IBM, cognizant, TCS, TATA and Wipro etc.

This year students recieved a total of 333 offers, with titles varying from Sr. Analysts, Jr. Developer, etc. out of which above 5 LPA were 44 offers. with nearly 95% students getting placed. 

The average package is approximately 4.96LPA and median being 4 LPA.

If the on-campus hostels are being offered you should choose them over the others (in case of ICOER it is only for female students it seems), for boys there are many good hostels and PG availible near ICOER, and you can check them on GOOGLE maps or when visiting the campus. Some good PGs are:

Krushna boys hostel:  (good on pocket, proper water supply but a bit far from the main road)

Happy living boys hostel: (good food, washing machine and clean rooms)

While choosing a hostel I would suggest you choose one which provides wifi, in PG kitchen/mess or some tiffin service nearby and not to go for coed hostels/pgs.
