BTECH IS CALLED BS in USA. you have to give SAT, TOEFL and have to write a SOP, your teachers will email your recommendation types to the university. It is very costly for bachelors and masters and the chances for scholarships is very low.

No course would be a futile effort. Distance and Executive MBAs are targeted at working class who have some experience. They still do serve the purpose in terms of enhancement of your knowledge/information base. For freshers a regular MBA from an AICTE approved institute affiliated to a good university or reputed B Schools seem to the better bet.
