Tanuj, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are lregistered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. An MBA in marketing will be a good choice for people who have attractive personality, can create new markets and exploit present market conditions and can showcase their creativity and marketing skills. But to get admission to good institutes such as IIMs, IITs and B Schools you must clear aptitude tests as applicable to the institute. There are some self financing colleges that fill seats vacant after the allotment process and the payment seats based on departmental admission tests, you must search out for vacancy positions with the respective department/office of the institute and their mode of allotment. The candidate must have a valid GATE score.
Admission Procedure
For M. Tech. programmes, a selected number of candidates will be called for a written test and/or interview.
M.Tech. admission, a selected number of candidates will be offered direct admission based on their GATE score
Course Description
NITT offers M.Tech. Non-Destructive Testing course which is a post graduate program divided into four semesters.
In this programme, students are taught with necessary theoretical inputs as well as with practical training in collaboration with NDT Lab and Welding Research Institute (WRI) of Bharath Heavy Electrical (BHEL),
In this four semester programme, the first two semesters are designed for theory, practical and field work. The third and fourth semesters are exclusively meant for carrying out project work in industries and various research institutions in the country like IISc, IGCAR, WRI , BHEL, HAL etc.
