No, it won't affect. You can appear for CAT 2018. Admissions will start from 2019, by the time your graduation will get over.

After 10th you can go for commerce if you want to work in finance or business administration. You can opt for commerce in 11th and 12th and then go for either B.Com or BBA or simple BA in the stream of your like.
Science stream has more options than other streams. You can go for engineering, B.Sc. in Physics, chemistry, biology, pharmacy, agriculture, biotech or microbiology. You can also go in medical field and pursue MBBS/BDS/ Other medical streams. Engineering is most common and most favorable of all. If you have interest in science then go for PCM with computer science or biology.
