If you are joining through MAT, there is no quota. Quota is applicable only if you join through TANCET in whose selection PSG has no role. PSG accepts scores above 600 but selection will also depend on your performance in GDPI round. Fee would be higher if you join through MAT. The specialization is usually chosen only after your 3rd semester. You can opt it then. Hope my answer helps you.
