Yogita, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. you could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. you can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. you can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. Its not true that placements are only good in hyderabad campus althought it is true that this year's mumbai placement are not that good in terms of package but you cannot compare mumbai with hyderabad campus becouse the fee at hyderabad is just double i.e around 14 lakhs as compared to 7 lakhs of mumbai so ROI for mumbai is 3.5 laks p.a while for hyderabad is 7 lakhs p.a so and if you are good then you can easily get a package of 4-5 lakhs so according to me its good to invest 7 lakhs than taking a risk of investing 14 lakhs the reason being that college only plays a role in getting first job and after that you get job depending on your past job experiance.
Although if you still have a doubt then please firsty clear them and then take a decision as it is gping to decide your future.

Your percentage is good and you can apply for admission. It's compulsory to write any of the entrance exam. Either CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA.

Most of the MCA Entrance tests are purely objective in nature. But a few of them also have a mix of multiple choice/ True or False/ Fill in the blanks, short-answer type of questions etc. One needs to be essentially good at Higher Maths, as most of the MCA Entrance Tests comprise Maths, Statistics and know how of Computers. Some institutes also have Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and General Knowledge in their test syllabi. Spend as long as possible preparing for the exam. The more familiar you are with exams, the less frightening they seem and the easier they are to complete properly. Take the practice exam under close to actual testing conditions. Preparation of these exams can be started along with the final year of graduation. The preparation for the MCA Entrance easily takes 5-6 months with a daily and consistent input of about 5 to 6 hours. Enroll in a test preparation course or a correspondence course that will provide you with course material, tests, practice sessions etc.
There are many Institutes in India which are offering MCA and some how the contents of study to be covered may differ from one institute to another.
