Eligibility Criteria for IIT's M.Tech programs:
* Candidates holding bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in science with marks/CPI not below the prescribed minimum are eligible to apply.
* Equivalent with CGPA 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks in aggregate for general category with GATE (a) 300 score for general category, or (b) 200 score for SC/ST category and 250 score for PH.
* Graduate from any of the IITs with a minimum CGPA of 8.0 are exempted from this requirement.

Dear Akshay. If you are looking for the cheapest way to study in the UK, then i would always say that rather than doing it it is always better to do it from India itself. Having a graduation from the UK gives you the best foundation for a business career and the best way to do this is to get it from a reputed institution. Obviously for a good institution, the fee also would be a bit higher. So if you are having constraints about the finances and still would like to do =a UK graduation, then try twining programs in India which would be doing 2 years in India at a much lower cost and then moving to the UK for the 3rd year. This way you still get the best education and the best university for a much lower cost.
