AIEEE 2012 Fee Structure
The application fee for B.Tech/B.E only or B.Planning/B.Arch only is Rs.800.00 for the OBC/General and Rs. 400.00 for PWD and SC/ST candidates for the offline examinations. In case of the online exam the fees are Rs. 500.00 and Rs.250.00 for GEN/OBC and PWD & SC/ST respectively.
In case of the offline exams for both B.Tech/B.E and B.Planning/B.Arch, the fee is Rs.1400.00 and 700 and for the online exam it's Rs. 1100.00 and Rs.550.00 for GEN/OBC and PWD & SC/ST respectively.
The fees for offline exam in the foreign country are Rs. 2000 and Rs.1000 for GEN/OBC and PWD & SC/ST respectively for the students appearing for B.Tech/B.E only or B.Planning/B.Arch only. In case of both B.Tech/B.E and B.Planning/B.Arch, the fees are Rs. 3000.00 and Rs. 1500.00 for GEN/OBC and PWD & SC/ST respectively.

Usually this field being new, there is no 10+2 marks based cut off. Here is some more advice. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose.
