Strathclyde is a great place to study and enjoy life at the same time. The entry requirement for Indian students for an Undergraduate course is an average mark of 75% in Higher Secondary School Certificate/All Indian Senior School Certificate awarded at Standard XII?. You also need an English Language certification with Minimum overall band score of 6.5 (no individual test score below 5.5) in IELTS or a Minimum overall bank score of 94 (minimum scores of 21 in Listening and Writing, 22 in Reading and 23 in Speaking) in TOEFL. The course fee will be approximately £ 10200 per year which is liable to be increased for this years entry. So the course fee will be 30,600 for 3 years graduation program. Together with this, you will also have to take into consideration your living expenses which would in turn be at least 7200 oer year for a student.

As you have shown interest in automobiles, them to become an automotive engineer :
1) You need to pursue engineering degree / diploma first with a strong base in Science and Mathematics.
2) After graduation you can go for M.E./M.Tech in Automobile engineering.
3) You may even opt for short / long term courses comprising of different levels such as designing, development or manufacturing with automotive. It depends on you where do you want to fit in.
- Scope :
After the course completion, automobile manufacturing industries such as TELCO, L&T, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Heldex India, Bajaj Autoand Gabrial employ automotive engineering graduates as Senior Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, etc.
- Many engineers also join defence services of the country. Some even set up own business venture or take up traditional teaching profession.
- Remuneration varies depending on the size of the organizations, profile, qualification, experience etc.
