On passing the +2 examination or a recognised equivalent examination, candidates can write the CPT.
On successful completion of the +2 exam and the CPT, candidates are eligible to register for the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC). Candidates have the option of choosing Group I and/or Group II. A nine month of course study is required. The orientation course is for one week with thirty five hour credit. It covers areas like office procedure, personality development, general commercial knowledge, communication skills, business environment etc. After the orientation course, candidates have to gain competence in information technology. Hundred hours of Information Technology Training (ITT) has to be completed by the candidate, followed by articleship training.
On completing the nine month foundation course study, candidates are required to appear for the Group I and/or Group II examinations. Group I has four papers while Group II has three papers. This is the Integrated Professional Competence test commonly known as the intermediate examination. Graduates with 50 per cent marks in subjects (Auditing and Commercial, Accounting, or Mercantile Law) and graduates in other disciplines with 55 per cent marks can directly register for the IPPC course without appearing for the foundation course.
On passing both the groups or Group I alone of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE), candidates can register as Articled Assistant for a three year period.
Candidates can join the CA final course while serving as Articled Assistant. During the last 12 months of articled training, candidates will have to undergo a 15 day course on General Management and Communication Skills (GMCS).GMCS can also be done after taking the final examination.
Aspirants can take the final examination on completion of the three year articled training or while serving the last six months of the training.
On acquiring the ICAI membership, candidates will be designated as Chartered Accountant.

Hi Ishita. You among the 1st candidate so is so curious to know so many things. There are two batch here - systems and operations. No batch like PGDM-programme is here. Yes you will.have to give a P.I to get over in specialization. In induction period you have to wear saree and after that suits. Saree you will.have to wear only then on any occasion or company's process accordingll to college authorites. We have 3 mess here with different type of cuisine and trust me our faculty says it's best college in term of tasty food all over Pune. Surely BIMM is best because of Best ROI and it's a mother college oldest among all 4 institute. Also it's placement are almost done. Highest package was Rs 21,00,000/and average package was Rs 6,00,000 to Rs 7,00,000. It's my heaven and beat investment of my life I can say that. Hope you got your answer.

Marine engineering often refers to the engineering of boats, ships, oil rigs and any other marine vessel or structure, but also encompasses oceanographic engineering. Specifically, marine engineering is the discipline of applying engineering sciences, and can include mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science, to the development, design, operation and maintenance of watercraft propulsion and also on-board systems and oceanographic technology, not limited to just power and propulsion plants, machinery, piping, automation and control systems etc. for marine vehicles of any kind like surface ships, submarines etc. Being sector specific, job opportunities will be limited to the concerned segments in industry when compared to traditional streams of engineering.

I will prefer you to take B.Tech not B.Sc. I say this due to following reasons:
i) B.Tech will give you a technical hand which is highly preferred by companies. a technical person is supposed to tackle problems with ease.
ii)B.Tech will give you more salary in any firm or company. B.Sc person will get comparatively lower salary.
iii) The syllabus of B.Sc is vast and it is far more then B.Tech syllabus. So if you are a decent student, you will do great in engineering.
iv) You have more carrier options available after B.Tech. The options after B.Sc are limited.
v) You have an opportunity of foreign placements through B.Tech while simple B.Sc will not get you a foreign call.

Right after independence of India we have two types of universities, one that offers degrees in many fields like Sciences, Arts, Education and Engineering too, and the second set of universities (were named as institutes) offer only degrees in engineering. Universities those offer other degrees along with engineering named their engineering degree as BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and Institute constituted for only Engineering studies named their degree as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology).
Now as AICTE approve courses most of the courses are same and identical for BE and B.Tech. The universities those offering BE when started new courses named them to B.Tech too.
No degree, BE or B.Tech and ME or M.Tech is superior other others in terms of theory or experiment. BE and B.Tech or ME and M.Tech are same. Both of them are same and have similar scope and future. If there is some notification for BE, B.Tech's are also eligible to apply and vise versa.
