Most government colleges take admissions on the basis of merit and cut-off list. Some colleges are introducing entrance exam criteria as well. You will have to check with each university for their unique admission procedure.

Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Candidate must pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education. English as a subject of study. A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level. One must pass the qualifying exam i.e. IIT-JEE for admission into Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), or the SRMJEE to apply to the aerospace engineering programme they have.
