To appear in the D.El.Ed entrance exam, you need to first check the eligibility criteria, typically involving 10+2 with a minimum percentage and sometimes specific subject requirements. Then, apply for the exam through the respective state's education department or affiliated institutions, often via their official websites. After successfully appearing for and clearing the exam, you'll be evaluated based on your score and potentially a personal interview, and if selected, will be offered admission to the D.El.Ed program.

For most candidates with a Master's degree (and no PhD), the UGC NET or a similar state-level exam (SLET/SET) remains a standard requirement for Assistant Professor positions.

Exceptions exist:

Certain candidates are exempt from the NET requirement. These include those who:

It's not possible on just the basis of  your 12th board results.

You should have 60% in 12th and must appear for atleast one entrance exam like Kcet Comedk or Jee main.

Even for management seat you must appear for one of these exams but here ranking doesn't matter under this quota.

The significance of being a Division 1 athlete is it comes with better tuition benefits & a higher level of competition as compared to the lower divisions. The chances of D1 athletes becoming professional players is also much higher as a bigger number of scouts watch these games.

The lower division athletes, however, do have more flexibility when it comes to time & pursuing other extracurricular activities.
