Hi,
In order to take CAT test the candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.
Please note that after completing graduation through distance education it would not be possible for you to get admission in good B-school to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program.
I would request anjani jha to share his expert opinion on this.

Hello Prakash,
It feels good to see your concern about your sister's career. Since you have not mentioned her 12th stream & her area of interests so its tough to give proper advice. There are plenty of options in the fields of management, engineering, medical, teaching, banking, law etc So, you've to check her caliber, interest & then choose accordingly. And yes, don't force your decision on her, let her decide what she can do the best. Just guide her, she will do well.
Best of luck :)

May be now you think that you have wasted 2 years since you decided to do a diploma than a B Tech, still you have plenty of options available to do a B Tech degree programme. The world does not end here. Even after a diploma you have lateral entry options to do a B Tech programme direct to the second year after an eligibility test and you can save one year to complete a B Tech programme.
