Software Engineering is the fastest growing sector in the world. But it's really important to take admission in the right college which can provide all the facilities to their students. For being a software engineer you should go for B. Tech/B.Tech (Hons) * in Computer Science & Engineering and this course is available in Galgotia University. Apart from B.Tech and BE degrees, one can also opt for a diploma course in Computer engineering. The duration of these diploma courses is from 1 month to 3 years.
After successfully completing a 3 year diploma in Computer engineering, one can seek admission in second year of a B.Tech/ BE degree in Engineering, known as Lateral entry. One can also opt for BCA, BSc CS or BSc IT degrees from various recognized Universities. Another option would be to complete Engineering degree through AMIE (Associate Membership in Institute of Engineers) on an evening or part time basis.

Before seeking admission in any institute, kindly check the below mentioned parameters such as affiliation, accreditation, fee structure, curriculum, admission procedure, entrance exam patterns, etc.
The basic eligibility for admission in a bachelor’s degree is successfully completing higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. Admissions to most of the institutes are done on the basis of entrance examination. However, the eligibility and admission procedure may vary from institute to institute as different institutes have different selection criteria.

Admission to Symbiosis Distance Learning programs have following eligibility criteria-
- All Post Graduate / Certificate Programs / Single Courses / Diploma (Except DCW & DTE) Programs:
Graduate in any discipline, from a recognized University OR International students who have graduated from a recognized University.
- Diploma in Creative Writing (DCW) & Diploma in Teaching English (DTE):
Age 16 years and above OR 12th grade / standard pass. (Students enrolling for program in creative writing should also have a genuine aptitude for imaginative writing.) Students enrolling for these programs should have passed 10th or 12th grade from an English medium school.
