Hello Krishna,
With 106 marks in CET, you are bound to get admission but in which college is quite difficult to say. You can get admission in any of the branches of your choice but I am afraid not in major colleges.

Devarsh if your have PCM subjects then I would suggest to you to go for Engineering course with a branch of your choice. After engineering you can branch out towards MBA if you do want to, or even appear for Govt admin postion (UPSC exam, State PSC exams).

Preetham, I would suggest engineering because its studies would enhance your power of reasoning, your mathematical ability and to to be able to think on a wider scale. All these would come to you very handy while writing the UPSC exam for IAS and similar career. Past records have also shown that engineering students tend to gain in such exams if they apply themselves properly. Besides, engineering can open more avenues for you incase you do not get a good ranking in the UPSC exam.

Hello Ankit,
OBC students are scoring quite well. Mesra has not given any information about the closing of OBC. However, closing ranks vary from 6000 to 45000 for general category candidates & is expected to be same for OBC.

It is free of cost if the expenses for the place where you will be taken to, is within the budget, considering there are 110 odd students. Expenses are accounted on per-head basis. So for us, they charged 3000/- extra. It might not be charged for you.

After BCA you can do M.C.A from IITs or jawahar Lal Nehru University or other premium institutes. I think Gate is not required for IITs but JAM is the test but to be sure you should visit any IITs or Isc Bangalore website.
