Reva University is an upcoming university with new records every year with placement and it's good for M.Sc.

Doing B.Tech in other colleges is better than doing M.Tech in VIT because trust me, VIT's M.Tech is not that good to invest your time and money for M.Tech. I would suggest you take another college with B.Tech.

For which university are you planning to go fir MA in English. However, you can start your preparation by reading History of English language from any good author. Start reading from the very beginning and make notes of your own. It will surely help you. There is not particular syllabus. The placement at ISB, Bangalore is quite good. In the year 2018, they had average domestic CTC of 22 lacs approximately.
