After diploma in electrical and communication engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course and can directly enter into the second year. If you want to work alongside then you may join correspondence course.

Procedure :
To take admission, there is Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
