CUSAT CAT question paper comprises the questions of six hundred seventy five marks. The questions in CUSAT exam will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. According to the CUSAT exam pattern, candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer while there will be a negative marking of one mark for each incorrect answer. Assam CEE 2023 Physics syllabus consists of the topics from both 11th and 12th standard qualifying examination. Candidates could check the previous year question papers to know the topics that had more weightage and were likely to be repeated. Some of the important topics in Assam CEE 2023 Physics syllabus are -  Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Gravitation, Electromagnetic Waves, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, Optics, Atoms and Nuclei, etc.

Candidates applying for the M.Tech. programme are required to meet certain eligibility criteria. As stated, the candidates must have passed their qualifying degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60% for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC candidates. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 55% is required. It is important to note that these CGPA or percentage requirements must be awarded by a recognised University or Institute.

Students can consider Assam CEE syllabus to be moderate to tough in the terms of difficulty level. Since the subjects, units and topics of Assam CEE are syllabus to the 11th and 12th standard qualifying exam, the students are expected to have previously studied it. The syllabus consists of the topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. During the preparation process, the students are advised to check the syllabus and referred books. The additional books will allow the students to have a higher understanding of the syllabus.

In the CUSAT CAT question paper, there will be two hundred questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Applicants will be given 3 hours to complete the exam.
