Eligibilty for Admissions varies from college to college, But from what I heard for getting admission in Thapar School of Liberal Arts you need minimum 60% in 10+2, (55% for SC/ST). Background, score nothing can stop you from becoming an IAS officer, if you have the curiosity to learn more, gain knowledge plus hard work then success is in you hands. I will suggest choose the under-graduation subjects where your interest is at maximum level. Few Tips while preparing for UPSC exam
1. Read newspaper daily and try to make bulletin notes.
2. Read UPSC syllabus thoroughly
3. Try to think about your optional subject
