To be eligible for BE/B.Tech in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to SC or St category or needs to be in top 20 percentile of their board examination.

Hello Hritik Bondre, it is very nice to hear from you that you have completed your Diploma in mechanical engineering and now you are desirous of doing your graduation in engineering. There are two different ways by which you can accomplish you are dreams. Firstly you can seek admission directly into second year of 4 your degree course of engineering under lateral admission process. Alternatively you can treat Diploma as equivalent to 12th examination and appear for different entrance examination for getting admission in first year of four year engineering graduation course. This is so since almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and as a result of this cutoff is really high. Yes, you can apply for B.Tech admission in TIET batch 2021. The last date to fill the online application form was September 10, 2021. However, you can still apply for the 2023 batch. Admission to B.Tech is based on a valid score in JEE Main. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Class 12 with Physics Chemistry Maths/ Biology with an aggregate of 50%2. I hope this helps.
