There is no major problem for private exams as many students are appearing in those exams and improve their result. Also, it is valid all over the India. But yes, it has a problem when your academic record after your 12th is not good. Give these exams and score more than enough and then try to secure good marks in future so that there is no problem at all.

Road to any Engineering degree is through one or the other CET. Just check what your state needs & follow it. Else it's JEE Mains for NIT's and JEE Advanced for IIT's.

First of all hotel management is a specialisation. In this specific specialisation, you have to start from the beginning during your training (internship) which you may dislike (waiter) there is a lot of physical work in the beginning but it is to be noted that as you will progress or gain some experience your workload would minimize and once you will become a manager then you have to manage the organisation like any other company.
