JoSAA allocation of seats is based on CRL for Open (General) category of seats. For all other category of seats like GEN-EWS, GEN-PWD, SC, ST, OBC-NCL, etc. , seats are allotted based on the respective category rank. You may go through the Opening and Closing rank of Round 1 allocation of JoSAA 2020 available in the JoSAA portal for a better understanding.

According to the last year change in closing rank for last round, also JoSAA 2016 was very much similar to JoSAA 2017, So the following changes can be seen in the 7th round this year. NIT+System : Rank change of 5000 to 50000 can be seen for most of the NITs academic programme. There are some top institutes in which CSE, IT or ECE can have very less change. On the other hand lower ranked NITs may show changes up to 2000 ranks. IITSystem No such great change will occur in most of the institutes. Hello Yash Chauhan, as per my research the eligibility for applying to B. Tech Computer Science is scoring above 80 marks in ( PCM ) and your JEE Main marks are also reviewed and according to that scholarship is given. To find fee structure and apply from college have their official site https://www.geu.ac.in/ . So you can get any information about anything there. There is no reservation only merit which is great thing for the good students as some students sometimes missuses the reservation to grab a seat of a deserving candidate.

Now a days, the demand of agriculture has gone on boom. Most of the times students asks about a seat in agriculture but as the demand has gone high, the students are facing a very tough competition and if you are talking about a prestigious agriculture college of India where the foreigners too approach as their first priority that is TNAU.

IIIT Surat is shifting to new campus in July / August

CAMPUS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Currently , our campus ai not ready so our college is functioning within SVNIT , and shares all of its campus resources like classrooms ,labs,sports facilities,gym,student clubs, hostels etc. However , we do have our own admin building, computer labs and electronics labs have been setup separately recently in this year itself .

There are 52 seats alloted for other states quota. These seats are distributed region wise ie. North, South, East and West. The approximate cutoffs for these regions are as follows:-
South: 199.33
North: 193
West: 189
East: 187
The above cutoffs are for general category. For reserved category, it varies every year drastically. Even the general cutoffs will change every year since the number of seats reserved for each region are very less. Just register, keep calm and hope for the best.

It depends on perspective of every individual, I would like to share my perspective.
Civil is a good branch, you have so many interesting subjects to learn, many people choose to avoid giving civil a preference 'cause they think Civil me placement nahi hota' 'Construction site par kaam karna padega .But civil has so many sub branches (Structural, Environmental, Transportation, Water Resources, Construction technology, etc) which gives a good opportunity for further studies.
I agree that the placement scenario of civil is poor if you compare it to Mech, CSE, ECE, EEE , but if you are good with your subjects it shouldn't be a problem.
