Candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in the last qualifying exam for the MCA programme at XIMI Jaipur. Candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. Spread over four semesters, admission to the full-time M.Tech programme is subject to a valid score in GATE/ GPAT/ GAT-B exams. For some ME/ MTech/ M.Chem.Engg. specialisations, an institute-level written test and interview is conducted along with due consideration to the exam scores for final selection.
