Every year, MSVU invests CAD 3+ million in scholarships and bursaries for all students. Domestic or international high school students are guaranteed scholarship if they have average of 80% or higher and if they apply by the given deadline. Students are not required to fill any separate form for entrance scholarships as they are automatically considered for this award if they have required scores.

Other than this, Financial Aid Office help students with bursary applications and budgeting. University administers 3 types of bursaries at MSVU — Entrance, In-Course and Student Works. Eligible students will get entrance bursary application with their acceptance package. Difference between scholarships and bursaries is that scholarship is merit based award and bursary is awarded to students with financial needs.

UG students can also avail of these awards-

• Diamond Jubilee Entrance Scholarship- This scholarship is offered to UG students based on high school scores and records. Amount of scholarship varies based on good academics.
• In-Course Scholarships: This scholarship is offered to students based on coursework at the university. Students are nominated by the faculty members and are required to have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 for this scholarship.

Graduate Student Scholarships: International students are eligible for graduate scholarships, such as:

• Entrance Scholarships: Students are automatically considered for entrance scholarships based on their merit and academic scores in high school or previous studies. Students are required to submit an additional application for the scholarship. The scholarships include Nova Scotia Research and Innovation Graduate Scholarships, Harvella Endowed Scholarship, Graduate Women's Studies Scholarship, and Graduate Entrance Scholarship.
• BMO Financial Group Endowed Graduate Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to international students enrolled in the Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Research programs at the university. The scholarship amount varies based on a student's academic excellence and previous study scores.

Candidates may note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment or counseling for admission to the M.Des programme offered by participating colleges. This means the role of IIT Bombay is limited to the conduct and declaration of results for the CEED 2024 exam.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to apply to the participating colleges for admission based on their CEED 2024 merit ranks. 

The participating colleges will open the counseling application form soon after CEED 2024 results are declared.

Note that only such candidates who have qualified in the CEED 2024 exam and have been allocated a merit rank will be eligible to apply for admission.

IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment for CEED 2024 qualified candidates. Instead, candidates who qualify in the exam and are allocated a merit rank have to apply directly to the CEED 2024 participating institute.

The participating institutes will open the M.Des application process soon after CEED 2024 results are declared. 

To apply for admission, the candidate will have to fill in the M.Des application form, upload their CEED 2024 scorecard, and other relevant documents.

Note that the participating institute may conduct further admission rounds, including personal interview and group discussion. The details will be published on the institute-admission portal.

The eligibility criteria and other important factors for the Stray Vacancy round of NEET UG counselling are as follows:

• Candidates should not have been allotted seats in the past three rounds
• Candidates must have resigned from the allotted seats
• Candidates allotted seat in Round 3 should have opted for upgradation in order to participate in the Stray Vacancy round of NEET UG counselling 2023

Regarding the Stray Vacancy round of NEET UG counselling 2023, MCC has stated, “If a candidate is allotted a seat in Stray round, he has to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidate does not join the allotted seat, he/she shall be debarred from the NEET examination for 01 Year along with forfeiture of fees."

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Tiruchirappalli (IIIT Trichy) offers an undergraduate BTech programmme under two specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admission to all these BTech courses is conducted via JEE Main exam, followed by JoSAA counselling and CSAB counselling. Candidates are required to qualify the course-specific eligibility criteria before applying for the JoSAA exam. IIIT Trichy's syllubus and curriculum is similar to NIT Trichy, which is prepared based on a thorough deliberations and discussions with IITs, NITs, IIITs, and Anna University. Candidates seeking admission to IIIT Trichy for BE/ BTech must check out the minimum eligibility requirements set by the institution.

The University of Pennsylvania awarded 108 bachelor's degrees in computer science during the 2020-2021 academic year.
