Yes, candidates can apply for the PGDM programme at GIBS even without work experience. The programme is structured to welcome both fresh graduates and professionals, ensuring equal learning opportunities. Though the prior work experience may strengthen a candidate's profile during the selection process, it's not mandatory for admission. The main eligibility criteria include: A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, and a valid score in a recognised national-level entrance exam like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and others.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA/PGDM at GIBS Business School

Applications for admission into GIBS's MBA and PGDM courses require candidates to have a Bachelor's degree of minimum 50% marks from a recognised university (for reserved categories-45%). The candidate needs to have a valid score in the exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, or any other equivalent entrance tests. Students appearing in their final year can also apply, provided they submit their documents before the admission closes. GIBS further screens candidates through Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and SOP, making the selection holistic.
