The ideal candidates for FPM are those who possess outstanding academic background, followed by professional experience and intellectual curiosity as well as diligence required to pursue the work of scholarship. The candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE. The candidates with foreign degrees must be from foreign universities or institutions which are recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). A Post-graduate degree or it's equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks
or
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Hi,
Considering your exams are in March 2017 you have 2 months to prepare and I'll take the worst case scenario here that you have just opened your books today. Just create a timetable. Work outwards in, by this I mean, allocate time for your sleep and leisure (Ideal would be around 10 hours in a 24 hour day window). Keeping a buffer of 2 hours for miscellaneous work you might have, you still have 12 hours per day to study. Keep each subject for each day (mix and match if you feel it getting monotonous or use YouTube videos to understand perspectives). Understand concepts rather than mugging up, practice a lot and remember to keep a calm attitude, don't think of the latter, think about now and everything will fall in place. You would do amazingly well.
