If you are aspiring to join SCMS opt for PGDM as placements are more as compared to MBA. Having 1 year of work experience in IT; the specialization " Systems and Operations " will be good. But it depends on your interest as well. PGDM is a dual specialization course having marketing as well as any specialization of your choice.

Hello viksit,
PGDM in marketing specialization is a good option and NDIM is providing dual specialization so you can choose marketing plus one more. The faculties are good for marketing and placements are also decent and satisfactory. now coming to Infrastructure the campus is not too big but not too small also. So overall its a good option to opt for PGDM in NDIM. Average package is 4.5-9 lacs p.a. and they provide 100% placement.

Dear Aditya Mahajan,
It's better if you will go with Master's degree in management, i.e. MBA. There are lot of job opportunities in this field as now a days MBA is one of the most popular as well as widely chosen courses amongst the other entire business related course.
You can choose any specialization in MBA as per your area of interest like MBA in HR, information technology, international business, banking and insurance, hospital and health care management, marketing, etc. It would be an added advantage as you will get good placement if you pursue this programme from a reputed institution.
I would recommend you some good institutions

Hi,
If you are planning to take a drop and prepare for CAT, then make sure you don't land up giving CAT only. Give all the exams like MAT, CAT, CET, NMAT, etc. So that, if you don't score good in CAT, you will have other options too.
All the best.

Dear Richa,
You will have complete independence to choose your specialization irrespective of your experience. It's true that some marketing companies prefer students with minimal work experience. But it is doesn't hold true for all Marketing companies.

If percentile is directly evaluated then it will be 40 out of 50. Else it will be converted to percentage first then evaluated under weight of 50.
