Firstly, admission is available only if you have passed your 12th from Bihar. Information about opening and closing ranks of OBC is not available. However, it's learnt that in some cases it was higher than general category. For general category, it varies from 6000 to 35000.

Hello Sairam,
To get admission in an IIM, you need to go through the following procedure:
1. You should prepare well for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) exam, which is normally held in November end or December first week. You can join any reputed coaching class, if needed.
2. Register for the same and pay the required exam fees.
3. Appear for the exam and give your best shot.
4. Then start preparing for the interview rounds, which consists of a WAT (Written Aptitude Test) and a PI (Personal Interview).
