If you are looking for admission in computer science than IIIT-Gwalior is a better option than JNTU-Hyderabad. IIIT-Gwalior is centrally funded institute with specialised courses in CSE and IT. Even placements are better in IIITs. So, in my view IIIT is a better option.

It depends upon the income. If it is higher than expected then you won't get any advantage of scholarship but if it's under 2 lakh then you may get the scholarship.
