While at most universities you will need experience to study an MBA qualification, with a technical qualification in Mechanical, you can and should explore the choice of pursuing Masters in Engineering Management.
The program allows you to learn management subjects focused at technical professions. Since you don't have an experience, it will help you to learn key management principles that you can apply to technical work place.
Some of the universities that offer Engineering Management in Canada include University of British Columbia (as a sub-specialisation), University of Ottawa, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Memorial University.
If you don't want to study technical aspects and want to go ahead with your MBA plans, do look at the Vancouver Island University MBA program that starts next in May 2014 for non-business graduates.
Other option includes MBA at Thompson Rivers University.
