Hello Solomon. No one other than yourself can best decide whether doing MS in CS from Canada is worth or not. As this depends upon individuals situation and aim. To take admission in top colleges you must have strong over all profile. As competition is increasing day by day especially looking to the changes in US and UK visa policies (work visa), Canada is becoming a preferred destination to study and to settle too. If your aim is to make global cv to be recognised globally then top most universities/colleges of Canada should be considered and doing MS in CS will be worthful. This may cause you huge expenditure therefore you should be financially in a position to afford it. If your aim is to get PR and settle over there, then you need to apply for PR. There is a point system for granting PR. Every province in Canada has it own QUOTA fixed for PR and a part of it is released from time to time. You need to submit your application for PR to the particular province in which you want to settle. The global economy is positive and I don't see any economic slow down across the globe. There may be ups and downs in the economy but it doesn't mean that it is facing recession. Doing MS in CS from Canada will not be a guarantee of job, this will depend upon your employability, communication skill and luck. *While selecting a university, you must also consider the climatic conditions, food and availability of part time jobs too, so that you can mitigate the expense on your study and cost of living.

The chances of getting placed after holding a BCA degree from distance education are slim. As companies prefer candidates from the regular full-time degree course. But if you still prefer to do from distance education then you can try to increase your level of knowledge and skills, so the companies can't avoid you. Hello Ravi,In a simple way, in regular you need to take classes with some percentage of attendance (7075%), exams are held on the basis of the semester. Like twice a year, but you will get a life to live, you can make new friends, you can enjoy the best part of your life (after school though) and people to enjoy, moreover regular college degree is always better than an open degree (sol degree). In Sol, you need not to take any class for it, (don't smile, it *) however you get a complimentary 1-month PCP classes something that no one attends. (classes are not bad between I haven't had experienced but I know). Exams are held once a year, the level of exams is a bit lower than regular du exams, that's it. No other thing is good about it (believe me I'm crying on my decision). But if you want to CA actuary or any other education with your graduation than it is good. I'm also preparing for actuary side by side, still, I'm dying to migrate my admission into a college. ( and I can't do that. because you can't migrate once you are in) but can you migrate from any DU college to SOL. I would say better to take admission in a college. If things don't work out migrate it in SOL. Thank you and Good luck.
