Hi Hemil,
SNAP score has around 50% weightage in the selection process. And then GD/PI has around 40% weightage. Academics has some weightage but it is very less. So if you do good in SNAP and GD/PI.academics will not matter much

Hi Hemil,
Frankly speaking, your acads are on the lower side. it will be difficult to get into IIFT. However, you are a commerce graduate, and incase you clear the written exam, you have to be exceptionally stand out in the GD/WAT/Pi rounds for converting the call.
My suggestion: Gain relevant work experience and build your profile. Work atleast 2 years and then do an MBA. It will really add value.

Hi Hemil,
To be eligible for admission in IMI Delhi, a minimum aggregate of 50% is required in your Bachelors. So you are eligible to apply here.
The admission rounds at IMI include clearing the CAT-off (which was 87 for PGDM and 84 for PGDM HR and PGDM B&FS this year), and then the subsequent rounds comprising of essay writing, extempore and interview. Even if your academics are not that strong, you can cover up for it by performing well in the subsequent rounds. So you can certainly be positive about it.

You might find a hard time in admissions but if you can justify your lower thn average marks in the admission interview then you might be abl to crack a decent institution. The place you would suffer most would be in the placement interviews where it would act in a negative manner.

Hi Hemil
From academic perspective, chances of a call if low. If you have stellar extracurricular achievements and perform exceedingly well in CAT or XAT or GMAT, then you could have a good chance of admission call consideration. However your academics might play a spoilsport.

Hi Vijaylakshmi, even though you are eligible for admission, decision will be made solely by the university. To have better chances for admission a good GRE score will help. Being an international student, you are required to give either TOEFL or IELTS. IELTS is recommended in Germany and a score of nothing less than 6.5 is recommended. I will also suggest you B1-B2 level German language certification. Germany has high education standards so prepare yourself accordingly. Keep checking university websites for requirements.
Good Luck!
