After MBBS, you have two options :
- You may continue studies

1) If you wish to continue studies you may opt for post graduation courses after MBBS. You may choose as per your interest. Some of them are listed below.

MD - Medical Gastroenterology

MD - Medical Oncology

MD - Neuro Radiology
MD - Rheumatology
MS - General Surgery

MS - Ophthalmology
There are various options to continue higher education by completing D.M. after M.D. One can even go for M.Ch after M.S.
Other than MD and MS, you may opt for :
Masters in Public Health (MPH)
Masters in Hospital Management
You can even join diploma courses in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Pediatrics, Neurology, Nephrology etc.
2) If you wish to work, then there are large number of opportunities available.
- The medical professionals can work in various health centers under the state government.
- The professionals can engage themselves in various research activities in various bio-medical companies.
- The aspirants can work as junior doctors in various hospitals in private as well as public sector.
- The medical professionals can work in various laboratories as research assistants.
- The candidates after completing M.B.B.S. can join in various medical colleges across the country.
