Hi,
If your brother is interested in IT industry, then he can go ahead and pick MCA. BCA and MCA is definitely a strong combination however MCA after B.COM also won't make much difference. BCA would have helped him with strong hold on basics such as programming, networking, database, etc. But I am sure he must have had it in GNIIT. So no worries, he can pursue MCA through regular mode since he also had Maths in class XII.
Simultaneously, he can opt for industry relevant certifications in order to enhance the career opportunities.

Hi,
Selecting a college is purely and entirely your decision. It would be tough to state a college as the best as every college has it's own plus and minus points.
While selecting, you need to keep in mind the chief point that is to check the recognition. Other than this, you also need to check year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
Be careful while selecting a college as merely getting a degree is not enough for this competitive world.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!

Hi,
With 84 score in JEE-Mains, it would be tough to get a seat in NIT. You may get in :
Tezpur University
AMC Engineering College
LNMIIT
KIIT
The above data is as per last years’ CCB record.
To get more information regarding cut-offs, fee etc for different courses, you may refer to the below link :
