Dear,
It all depends upon merit list and students. Sometimes, there are vacant seats but usually there is a rare chance that any seat will be vacant. So it's better to apply in private universities or have a gap of one year and clear your compartment and then apply for the good college.

Well, yes you can write KVPY 2019 provided you have the required minimum percentage in your class 12th i.e. 60% and you must have had a minimum of 60% in your class 10th. Also, you need to be from the science stream and the minimum percentage must be from your science subjects including physics chemistry and maths/bio.

Good evening dear, Yes, you have the option to get admission in this institute without having written CAT or MAT but there is a separate entrance test that the institute itself conducts I. e TKWs BAT exam, that need to be cleared by such candidates, followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
