To get a seat in your desired branch and college you need to contact the institute officials directly as the cut-offs keep on changing every year and differs from one branch to another.
As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience, etc so it would be tough to quote a specific figure.
