I would suggest that you go for 2 years of work ex and then try for MBA. Having work experience will ensure that you have good understanding of corporate culture which is useful while studying MBA.

Just Diploma in Mech engg may not be sufficient to get jobs in Dubai. You have to identify area where you feel comfortable, gain some local experiences, prepare with some special short term courses relating to equipment fabrication, pipeline engg, project management, etc.

You are right about the above figure, but when you are judging a college you cannot take just one batch record, the last batch unfortunately did not get right venue but previous batches and average track had been above 3.5 for freshers and 6+ for experienced, highest was 9.7/PA for the same batch with few international placements as well. Kindly research well before judging the institute.
