Placements: Placements were pretty good when compared to the previous batches. Computer Science engineering had a lot of top companies taking a lot of students. Salary packages ranged from 25 Lacs per annum to 3 LPA. Companies like Citi corp, Goldman Sachs, HCL, Siemens, Mahindra came for placements.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities in CEG. Classrooms are all well instructed with projectors and boards with space enough to accommodate around 100 students. There are separate departments with laboratories. The campus is entirely Wi-Fi enabled and there is a ground with fields for all kinds of sports.

For BITS your BITSAT score will be considered for admission. You can appear in the counseling process which starts in mid of October. After counseling, you will get a clear picture of the branch as it tends to change every year. Your JEE is irrelevant to your admission to BITS as it is not considered. All the best!

In this year Jee advanced paper, I got 220/366 and my IIST rank came to be 212. And guess what, I was getting all the streams. My advanced rank was in 3924. So if the Jee advanced paper is as easy as this year, you need to score more than 210 to get a stream in IIST. And if the paper was as difficult as in 2016, then you will have to get above 130.
So as you can see, it depends on the difficulty of your paper! So I can say, practice hard, do good! Try to bring your rank below 8000 in Jee advanced! Then there might be a chance!

Hello Vaishnavi, scoring good percentile in JEE Mains is no guarantee for a seat in c o e p. This is so since admissions of almost all colleges in the state of Maharashtra are through common entrance test called mht-cet. Of course there will be some seats in c o e p which may be filled up via JEE Mains, called all India quota seats, but how many seats and in which branch is not known at the moment. But with your present percentile you can perhaps get admission in a very good NIT in your desired branch.
Best wishes to you.
