You have not mentioned which place you belong to. Also, these days BCA has lot of following and hence cutoffs have reached 80% and more. I would advise you to go for the subject in which you have passion.

These days seats in all medical colleges are filled up based on ranking in NEET. I am afraid if you have not given NEET you can not get admission in medical.

Please assess yourself. Your ward has scored just 44%. With this he becomes ineligible. But, please ask why so low marks? What happened? Can something be done in this regard?

Yes you have chances to get Sastra University.
They consider JEE marks and overall percentage of board exams. So if you tell me the overall percentage or the total marks for which you have written your boards then it will be easy for me to tell whether you can surely get it or not .
You need to apply under stream 1 and the last date is June 10.

a) Pursue a Master's degree from IIT via JAM or from any other university in Physics and earn a Ph.D later on. You can also do Integrated Ph.D by applying and getting a good rank in JEST TIFR, IISER, etc.
B) Pursue your Master's degree from any IIT or from any other University on Physics and then pursue M.Tech later by applying for GATE.
C) Give an entrance test and get a good rank and get into some good engineering colleges.
D) Do Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) for a teaching job.
E) M.Sc in nuclear physics.
